Childbirth Educators
Abby (founder of Abby the Birth Worker, now known as Wonderfully Made) is currently in midwifery school and will be stepping back from teaching childbirth classes. Thankfully she knows some amazing doulas, fellow mothers, and incredible women who will be teaching her carefully curated curriculum. Mary will be teaching those taking classes in Boscobel. Chelsea will be teaching in Prairie du Chien. Mary and Chelsea will be teaching the same classes Abby offered.

Mary Turner
Mary is a Catholic wife and mother who lives in Richland Center with her husband, four children, three cats, and many chickens. Ever since her first daughter was born in 2021, she has been deeply enamored with birth, and has continued to study and involve herself with it as much as life with young children will allow. In 2021, she began offering birth photography along with her other photography services and also became a doula. Now, she is excited about the opportunity to teach childbirth education. She believes that the birthing process was beautifully and purposefully designed and that women’s bodies were made to birth their babies, all they need is to be given access to the proper knowledge and support. Having experienced giving birth twice in the hospital and twice at home, Mary looks forward to equipping parents with all of the information and tools they need to make the best decisions for their family and to have an empowered and sacred birth experience in whatever setting they choose.
Chelsea Walz
Chelsea Walz is Christian, wife, and homeschool mother to seven beautiful children. Inspired by her own and other’s varied birth experiences at home, birth centers, and hospitals, she began to doula and teach childbirth education. In these roles she seeks to serve families in the Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and Monona, Iowa area. She strives to support mothers to embrace birth and motherhood through hopeful encouragement, information, her own experience, and joy!
